Photography has been in my family for many years. My grandfather earned his living as a photographer in Los Angeles. My father is an avid photographer and earned his living in the manufacturing and development of motion picture cameras. There were many family gatherings where the discussions were fast and furious about photographic technique and equipment.

Although I was given cameras at an early age, I didn't truly start persuing photography until the mid '90s. My job commute took me through the beautiful Angeles National Forest twice a day. Although I took some good photos, I still regret not taking more time to experience the wonder of nature around me.

While I still shoot film, the advancement to digital photography has reignited a passion for photography within me.

I feel photography represents the art of vision and composition. I endeavor to create works that produce feelings and emotions, either subtle or strong.
